About me

Deanna Butlet

I trained and qualified as a Registered General and Sick Children’s Nurse (RGN/RSCN) in the early nineties then after eight years I moved into clinical waste management and worked as a senior manager/company director for over 15 years.

I decided to retrain in holistic therapies after a charity desert trek in Jordan for Marie Curie. I missed the one to one contact I experienced as a nurse and wanted to get out from behind a desk and ‘give something back’.

I now hold an ITEC Diploma in holistic massage, reflexology and sports massage. I have also completed additional training in lava shell massage and fertility and pregnancy reflexology.

I am a member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) and the AoR (Association of Reflexologists).

To enable me to continue to renew my annual membership of both these associations, I have to be fully insured. I also have to adhere to their code of ethics which ensures that I practice in a safe and ethical manner.

Another requirement of membership of both associations is that I continue training and keep up to date with research and development within my chosen therapies.
